I remember last year, in early April(!) ramps being one of the first fresh vegetables I had had in ages. This year, I've been a' searchin' the farmer's markets, but to no avail. Maybe it's a bad year for ramps? But with the warm weather, I too, am dreaming of strawberries - and today I saw the first, teeny, tiny little proto-raspberries on the bush in our backyard. Yippee!
